How Much Does It Cost?

The total course fee is £99. This offers up to 6 weeks of tuition in the skills of Advanced Motoring, during which time you will be accompanied by our qualified observers.

This cost includes the two books:-

• A copy of the Book, Advanced Driving the Essential Guide worth £9.99.
• A copy of the latest Highway Code (Published by HMSO on behalf of the Department of Transport) worth £2.50.

• Advanced Driving Test. The test is conducted by an IAM qualified examiner who is often a serving police officer.
• plus 1 year's membership of the IAM (worth £17.50)

Discounts?

Younger drivers (25 and under) are entitled to a £15 reduction on the nationally advertised Skill for Life price.

Don't be put off by this sounding like a lot of money. This is approximately the cost of two tanks of fuel! You could easily save this amount by more efficient driving in your first year after taking the course.
