West Pennine Group are not a driving school. We enhance and educate experienced drivers to a level that will allow them to pass The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) Advanced Driving Test. This life long qualification will improve your safety as a driver and your passengers, and may be used to reduce your car insurance renewals.

As a non-profit making Charity Organisation we are dedicated to improving the standard of driving in the Oldham area. West Pennine Group has been serving the area since 1977 in guiding it’s people towards safer driving and, ultimately, the Advanced Driving Test.

Once you join us as an Associate, you will usually be offered the services of a different Observer each week who will give you guidance towards becoming a better and safer driverAdditionally, we are closely associated with Oldham and Tameside Road Safety as well as the Police.
